SLO County Chess


    San Luis Obispo Chess Club welcomes you!  This site lists regular chess club meetings in San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. We host tournaments and events all over the Central Coast including Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Atascadero, and Paso Robles. Cal Poly and Cuesta students welcome!

    In San Luis Obispo:
    Thursday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 at the Carl's Jr. on Santa Rosa St., one block west of Foothill, across from Cal-Poly. Information and directions to San Luis Obispo Chess Club.

    In Morro Bay:
    Saturdays from 10;00 AM to 3:00 PM at the "Big Board" located on the Embarcadero at the west end of Morro Bay Blvd (go down the stairs). Information and directions to Morro Bay Chess Park.
